$100,000 Grant Awarded
On September 12, 2024 South Carolina Senator Vernon Stephens (D-39), Representative Joseph Jefferson, Jr. (D-102), and Representative Gilda Cobb-Hunter (D-95) presented a $100,000 check to Medical Ministries, Inc. This funding will help Medical Ministries, Inc., continue their community work by covering medical supplies, administrative costs and staff salaries.

A check for $300,000 was presented at Edisto Forks United Methodist Church, by South Carolina Senator John Matthews, Jr., who is one of the initial supporters of Medical Ministries, Inc. This award is to fund the ongoing efforts of Medical Ministries, Inc. to bring access to preventative primary medical care and other services to low income rural areas.
